In January of 1986, he accepted the position of Sales Manager with Commercial Office Systems where he grew their sales volume over 300% in his first year and enjoyed the growing pre-owned office furniture market.

In January of 1987, he became a salesperson with Mid Cities Office Systems, a remanufactured systems dealer. He helped accomplish a 400% increase in sales in just a one year period. He developed National Accounts, learned space planning and assisted in the development of tooling and creative design as it related to the refurbished furniture industry.

In September of 1989 he joined New Again by Contract Network, a new and remanufactured furniture leader in the Metroplex, and for the next 10 years would become the companies Top Performer for five of those ten years.

August of 1999 he was offered the position of Regional Sales Manager for Humanscale, an ergonomic leader in the industry, and managed over 85 dealers in Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.

In May of 2002, he accepted a position with an independent rep firm, Premier Sales Associates, as a sales associate in a four-member organization. He started as their ergonomic specialist but quickly transitioned into representing all their lines and by the end of 2003 became a partner in the group.

In October of 2004, he assumed the role of the principle of the organization and changed the name to Group 4.

In May 2005 he decided it was time to expand and begin plans for a new showroom, he began this growth by adding an associate in Tulsa, Tom Seifried, who would cover Oklahoma and Arkansas.

In March of 2007, he secured Group 4’s new showroom, 2500 square feet in the Dallas Design District and hired an A&D Associate.
